The best part (to me) about the voices is that you can actually set the voices to the original Japanese voice actors and the game itself still remains in English.Īs far as the bad points go, the arranging your troops in the "rooms", equipping decor, and leveling up your rooms can be rather confusing at first, but if you keep at it you'll figure it out in no time. Soul Nomad has a wonderful story (no matter which one you are playing), bright and colorful graphics, (the graphic quality is about the average of a normal Tactics game, so nothing to really complain about),a great music soundtrack, and good voice acting. So actually the game has a high replay value for that reason, because the two stories are almost totally different and the game has multiple endings. Though the first time through you are pretty muchly forced to play a "good" file, when you play through the second time you can be as evil as you want. One of the main selling points to me was one of the main advertising lines for the game, "Some people just aren't fit to play God." I have been waiting for a game were you can actually play on the evil side, and this game lives up to it. It plays very nice and has a very interesting menu and battle system that is unique to only it. To me it seemed to be advertised as an RPG so I bought it on its release date and was a little disappointed when I found out it was a Tactics game, and I'm not a huge Tactics fan, but in the end I ended up loving it. In terms of Haxs, there are several characters Toon Force users, Poison Manipulators, Time Manipulators, Soul Manipulators, Pocket Dimension Manipulators and several other ways to bypass durability like transforming people into flowers, attacking someone's soul or Reality Warping. In my opinion, Soul Nomad and the World Eaters is a great PS2 game, that's if you like tactics games. However, some of the Low Tier are FTL and the characters who are even weaker are typically around Massively Hypersonic speed. In terms of speed feats, the God Tier, Top Tier, High Tier and Mid Tier characters fall into the MFTL+ since they are comparable to characters who can react to and dodge Darkdeath Evilman's Gigantus Ray which travels the radius of the Milky Way Galaxy in one-thirteenth of a second which puts them at being several trillions of times faster than the Speed of Light. God Tiers are the characters that are High Multiverse level+ which are demons from the Carnage Dimension which are stated to have higher-dimensional power that are stronger than the Fourth Dimensional being and the characters that are Low Complex Multiverse Level which include people like Renya who has been stated to fight against Satanael who has been stated to Higher-Dimensional when compared to most other characters in the series. Top Tiers are Universe Level+ who can scale to overlords or beings who can create or reset a universe like Metallia or Chelka. High Tiers are Galaxy Level due to their being characters who can destroy Galaxies but aren't considered strong enough to be a serious threat. Mid Tiers are Multi-Solar System Level due to their being fodder demons have been stated to be able to destroy large amounts of stars. Low Tier characters (Prinnies and weak humans) are Planet Level, some are Star Level because of their ability to destroy a star, though there are characters from different parts of the Verse that is even weaker than that such as Phantom Brave, The Witch and the Hundred Knight 1 & 2 and Labyrinth of Refrain which is filled with characters that ranged from City Block Level to Country Level. The Nippon Ichi Verse has many powerful fighters in the verse. Unlosing Ranger Vs Darkdeath Evilman which was a Roguelike game, both The Witch and the Hundred Knight 1 & 2 which are action RPGs and Labyrinth of Refrain which is a first-person dungeon crawler. Most of the games developed by Nippon Ichi Software are Strategy JRPGs similar to Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics, with exceptions like Z.H.P. Every game follows a different protagonist in a different part of the verse, like the human world or a different Netherworld. Unlosing Ranger Vs Darkdeath Evilman and The Witch and the Hundred Knight 1 & 2. The first game developed by Nippon Ichi Software that became a part of the verse was Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure followed up by its two sequels before making games like Phantom Brave, La Pucelle Tactics, the Disgaea series, Makai Kingdom, Soul Nomad and the World Eaters, Z.H.P. The Nippon Ichi verse is the collective mass of every game that was developed by Nippon Ichi Software, the reason every game takes place in the same verse is that of how several characters appear in different games (Laharl appearing in Makai Kingdom, Darkdeath Evilman appearing in Disgaea D2 etc). 4.16 The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2.4.15 Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk.4.4 Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome.
